Marine Science

Title

A Marine World – dimensions of stability and change

Description

Join enthusiastic and knowledgeable marine scientists in a dive below the depths of Otago Harbour without even getting wet! Learn how to identify what a sea lion eats, sample the depths of Otago Harbour on board the RV Polaris II (the University research vessel), investigate the sustainability of a local fishery, and more. This is a great opportunity to work alongside marine scientists, make friends with a fish, and experience marine life and marine science up close! This project will be based at the NZ Marine Studies Centre and Westpac Aquarium, located on the beautiful Otago Peninsula for very scenic science.
