Description
Understanding coastal processes requires knowledge of processes of erosion, transportation and deposition. In this project you will find out how sand is transported on beaches and how beaches change on time scales from 12 hours to 10,000 years.
This project involves lots of field work (but perhaps surprisingly, no surfing).
