If you haven’t heard from us yet, please get in touch. Some people haven’t yet received their letters, though they were posted on 1 November.
Hands-On Science will run from Sunday the 12th to Friday the 17th of January 2014.
We have completed the selection process and your letters are in the mail. It was even harder than last year, with over 460 applications for 240 places. We are really sorry you could not all be selected. All of your applications had merit, and we encourage those of you who have missed out this year to have another go next year (if you are still at school).
All the best for your exams over the next few weeks!
The goal of Hands-On Science is to demonstrate, in a friendly and interactive environment, some of the activities that scientists are involved in and to encourage talented young New Zealanders to consider science as a career. We do this by bringing students to New Zealand’s oldest and most attractive university, an institution having an international reputation for excellence in scientific research and teaching.

So get into it!
